                                              The Museum                                                                                                                                                            

Friday had arrived faster than I expected, faster than I could decide what to take along with me on the trip! But luckily that's what mom and Hannah were there for. 

                                     ~ At School, Friday ~

I rushed out of the bus with Hannah right beside me. She looked like she would burst with all the excitement! 

"Can you believe it? we're actually going to The National Museum Of Arts?" She said (for about the hundredth time!) 

I just smiled, what can I say? I have got the most enthusiastic to-be Historian friend!

                                   

After Mrs. Lacey called out the attendance in the class-room, she led us all to the bus our class would travel in, and of course me and Hannah sat together. As soon as we sat down Hannah started to tell me about the museum using her research knowledge. The museum was a long way from school so it took us about an hour or so to get there. 

 I was a little Stiff from sitting in the bus for an hour, but I forgot all about it when we reached the museum.

The building looked like an ancient palace, it had beautiful walls made of white wood planks, the *stoop looked ancient, and the front-yard had a lot of flowers and tree's. We had all stepped out the bus and formed a line behind Mrs. Lacey.

 "Okay children, this is a very big museum so don't wonder around too much, okay?" She said. 

"Yes Mrs. Lacey," we all yelled.

I couldn't wait to get inside and start exploring, there must be a mystery lurking around here somewhere.
